There is a lot of news coming from Toyota as they are getting ready to unveil their 2021 Toyota Corolla vehicle. This is going actually to be a Special Edition car which is gong to mark the 50th anniversary of the model. Thus we are getting a 50th anniversary special edition Corolla which is being based on the Corolla SE model and is perhaps going to be the most exclusive and sporty looking sedan out there.

Since Corolla was introduced in 1966, there have been more than 40 million units sold and it even managed to become the best selling vehicle in the world and is managed to surpass the Volkswagen Beetle model in 1997. The popularity of the Corolla in the US is so high that it can only be matched with the Ford F-Series model and actually shows us how important the Corolla actually is for the industry. The 2013 was the year when the Toyota Corolla received its eleventh-generation model which managed to sell 300.000 units which was the number archived in 2008 for the last time. After a number of special editions models and a TRD pro concept model as well it is time to celebrate the birthday in style with a completely new special edition release.

The new model is going to be based on the Corolla SE model and is going to be an exclusive sport sedan which includes a lot of bespoke details which are designed in order to celebrate the popularity the vehicle has managed to gain so far. Thus the outside and the inside of the car have been reworked and tweaked and is adding a lot of optional equipment from the SE as a standard choice here. Only 8.000 models are going to be made which is going to make it one of the rarest cars in the future. Read the review and see how the 2021 Toyota Corolla celebrates its birthday.

There are many new things added for the 2021 Toyota Corolla. Actually, what mainly makes the special edition so special is the fact that it adds a number of standard points of equipment which were only available as optional ones with the previous car. Some of the added parts of equipment are LED low-beam headlamps with halogen high beams,   integrated fog lamps, LED daytime running lights, front grille surround with Piano Black insert,  heated side mirrors, body-colored door handles, Gloss Black 17-inch alloy wheels, a  rear trunk lid spoiler, a chrome-tipped exhaust, and variable intermittent windshield wipers. The list is actually quite long and exclusive and is where the prosperity of the vehicle lies.

The 50th Anniversary Package actually allows us to have even more with the aforementioned options. Making its way exclusively to the car are the Complex-LED headlamps, machine-finished wheel with Dark Gray inserts which are going to replace the Gloss Black rollers, a “50th Anniversary” badge, a moonroof  and three new exclusive paint options that are only going to be offered here.
