2021 Kia Sedona review

2021 Kia Sedona Specs, Ratings, Pricing

2021 Kia Sedona – We should expect the new and refreshed 2021 Kia Sedona to come equipped with a quiet cabin, un-minivan-like dashboard, versatile second row seat designs, and plenty of features for your money. Its release date should be expected sometime later this year.

Undoubtedly, the minivan has become today’s station wagon, and despite much being said about this form of transportation, the fact remains that those with large families often end up with a minivan one way or another. For decades, the segment has been dominated by Honda, Chrysler, and Toyota, but still there are others who are trying to join the party and none has been able to match up to Kia.

The new 2021 Kia Sedona comes as a carryover design from last year’s model and boasts of a crisp exterior and interior styling, driver-focused dash design, and a plenty of versatility features. Adding its value pricing and the vehicle becomes a compelling addition to any shopper’s minivan shopping list.

Perhaps this minivan will make you think twice in case you are still associated with the stigma of owning a diaper-toting minivan. At heart, obviously, the 2021 Kia Sedona is still a down to earth minivan. Despite all the rosy attributes the Sedona comes with, the vehicle still scores poorly in terms of the cargo capacity the vehicle comes with. Other alternatives out there include Dodge Grand Caravan, Honda Odyssey, Nissan Quest, and Toyota Sienna.

2021 Kia Sedona Engine Specs

Powering the 2021 Kia Sedona is a 3.3L V6 engine that cranks out 276 hp and 248 pounds of torque. Standard across the entire trim lineup is the FWD and a 6-speed transmission system. When properly equipped, expect the minivan’s towing capacity to be 3,500 pounds.

During our test drive, the SX-L was able to clinch 60 mph in just under 8 seconds.

As per the fuel economy ratings, the L, LX, and EX should be able to return 18/24/20 mpg in the city/highway/combined, and 18/25/21 mpg for the SX.

Some of the safety features to expect from the Sedona minivan include stability control, rear parking sensors, antilock disc brakes, full-length side airbags, and hill start assist.

Date Of Release – 2021 Kia Sedona

We should look forward to its release come June next year. Granted its improved features and technologies, a price increment over the outgoing model isn’t foreseeable considering the stiff rivalry in the segment. So, a base MSRP of $26,400 is likely.
