2021 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 review

2021 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350

2021 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 – Ford has been producing Mustang vehicle for quite some time now and has managed to release an abundance of popular vehicles which became legendary and are in most cases the stuff your dreams are usually made of. But the recent releases have not been that magnificent compared to the models of yesteryear when a Mustang car was known for its good handling and power abilities, and the fact that every person can look cool in one of this. But it is all going to changes with the release of the 2021 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350.

Don’t get me wrong, you will still look cool in tis vehicle, in fact you may look even cooler in this one than in a few previous models, but the changes are more apparent when it comes to the drivetrain and the handling of the car. For used to upgrade the power of the car by merely adding a turbocharged powertrain each year, but it did not boast well for the overall performance of the car. This time they decided to take things a bit more easer and have gotten rid of everything that might affect the car’s performance. The result was a power boost which has been enhanced without adding a turbocharged engine and direct fuel injection.

The new GT350 is going to use a 5.2-liter V8 engine which is also found in the GT versions, but this time they managed to do a lot of magic inside the car and make it go faster and initially perform better. A flat-plane craftshank, something usually used in exotic Ferrari cars, is one thing that has been included so you may only guess what else is in stored for you in this car. The bottom line is that the new 2021 Shelby GT350 is a performance vehicle that can be used as an everyday cruiser equally well and all of the specs and performance rates are given here in the review for you to look at.

How the new 2021 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 is actually like a high performance version of a standard Mustang coupe. But of course there are substantial difference which include a Torsen rear differential ,  a rear spoiler,  xenon headlights, keyless ignition and entry and 19-inch wheels. This is just what the base level of the new GT350 has as deepening on the package that you decide to go for you may get a completely different look of your car. It actually depends on what you would like to concentrate on and what you wish your new Mustang GT350 to have an advantage in.

The Technology package actually does not have a great difference visually on the outside as its additions are concentrated more on the inner part of the car. The Track package, on the other hand, does not come in conjunction with the Tech Package and features a deal which is a bit more drive orientated. Adaptive suspension dampers and heavy-duty springs are the main additions to the car and also come with a much larger spoiler at the back for better control and a front suspension tower brace. The added R Package is a continuation of the Track Package, which besides the already mentioned additions also gets you the use of some 19-inch carbon-fiber wheels and some aerodynamic body enhancements, like the front chin splitter and rear wing.

The inside of the newest 2021 GT350 has much the same the look of a regular Mustang vehicle. It has all the modern conveniences a car gets and also uses some quality leather materials to give the best possible comfort. The Sync voice command system is still present in this model, but a far more better addition is the inclusion of a Sync 3 touchscreen infotainment system which is a step forward from the previously used MyFord Touch predecessor. The Recaro front seats come as a standard choice for any Mustang trim this time. They are a good choice for racing and fast driving preferences but do not provide the needed comfort when using it as a simple cruise. This is where the added packages come in as you can choose one which will enable more interior comfort.

The best way to go here is add a package which comes with a better seat trim as you can use some more lateral support in cruising feats and use the added heating/cooling systems that come with it to make you cabin a comfy cruising setting. The back seats are completely cramped and the people on the back will not feel pleasant at all. But it provides just enough cargo space for a sport coupe vehicle with 13.5 cubic feet of cargo space. But if you go for the GT350R you can remove the back seats all together and use it as a two seater.

So as mentioned, under the hood of the 2021 Mustang Shelby GT350 is a 5.2-liter V8 engine. The power output of the vehicle has been measured at 526 hp and 429 pound-feet of torque and is mostly thanks to the tweaks and upgrades in terms of some master engineering by the people from Mustang. It even comes back with some great EPA ratings that are  16 mpg in combined driving (14 city/21 highway), but unfortunately no track numbers have been issued yet and we will publish them as soon as they are known. The car will combine the powertrain with a six-speed manual transmission which drives the rear-wheel drive and is the only transmission choice offered this year.

Price and release date

The car has been showcased for the first time at the LA Auto Show this year when they have announced that the car is going to be available for next year. Thus the release date is going to be somewhere in January when the car is going to be offered for sale and be available in your closes dealerships. But the price tag can be a bit nifty as the base price is $52,995, while added payment for the Tech Package is $2,995, for now.
