2017 Toyota Tacoma Release Date

With an excellent off-road ability, a high resale value, an all-embracing list of options, a receptive touchscreen interface, and a potent V6 engine with an available manual transmission system, the redesigned 2017 Toyota Tacoma is a great choice for a midsize truck. Its release date should be expected sometime in the middle of next year.

Although its dimensions are largely unchanged from the outgoing model, the new 2017 Toyota Tacoma bears a clear family resemblance to the larger Tundra. It is an excellent choice for anyone who finds the regular full-size trucks too large or too pricier.

2017 Toyota Tacoma sides exterior specs

Notable improvements can be seen on its interior and exterior facets, and if you liked the previous model, the new one is certainly going to excite you more. The dinky steel wheels of the 4×2 stripper are no longer available on the 2017 Toyota Tacoma lineup. The roster now consists of only the crew cab and extended body styles, and the RWD Tacoma brethren now come with an impressive ground clearance and a raised suspension, as is the 4×4 versions.

The Crawl Control system available on both Toyota’s 4Runner and Land Cruiser is also a part of the TRD Off-Road and all 4×4’s repertoire. Other additions on the Tacoma include a standard lockable damped tailgate, the latest touchscreen interface, the tri-fold hard tonneau, and the integrated GoPro mount.

Its interior is now modernized and stylized, and the cabin offers an impressive list of technologies and soft-touch materials. Some of the technologies the standard Tacoma will afford you include a blind-spot monitor with rear-cross traffic alert, cruise control, and an upgraded touchscreen interface.

But even with so many new additions, Toyota seems to have missed the point on certain areas such as the low driver seat that lacks any height adjustment, the V6’s unimpressive acceleration, and the telescopic range of the steering wheel is minimal. Therefore, it would be wise to check out what the competition offers before deciding.

There is no shortage of rivals here with the 2017 GMC Canyon being the closest competitor to the Tacoma. It is vastly improved and offers a more comfortable ride even for taller drivers. Others include the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado, and the 2017 Nissan Frontier.

2017 Toyota Prius Review

2017 Toyota Prius is interesting toy for older boys and here we can see why. If you’re looking for highlights such as impressive fuel economy ratings, improved driving position, a generous cargo space, and a notably hush interior, look no further than the 2017 Toyota Prius. The vehicle offers plenty of upscale materials and technologies as well. Its release date should be expected sometime during the 2nd Q of 2017.

The redesigned 2017 Toyota Prius has a styling unlike anything we’ve seen before, unless you count the hydrogen-powered Toyota Mirai, which seems to have been the inspiration. Its reputation as a fuel efficient vehicle has been upheld strongly by the new model, and offers an impressive fuel consumption rating relative to what the segment offers.

The exterior design, and to some extent the interior design, has radically changed and it might prove challenging to like especially for current users of the model who’d want to upgrade their vehicles to the 2017 version. Toyota isn’t coasting on its success, in fact, the company is continuing to dominate in the hybrid market.

2017 Toyota Prius spy shots

Although the most appealing and compelling aspect of owning the Prius would be because of its impressive fuel economy ratings, the new model offers plenty of other appealing items that you wouldn’t expect it to boast of. Let’s talk of space: the Prius offers plenty of leg- and headroom for its users and even tall drivers will find it comfortable. Further aback, the cargo volume, though it might not be the best in the segment, is still voluptuous enough to offer adequate space for every passenger’s cargo.

2017 Toyota Prius design

Under the hood, Toyota hasn’t made any substantial changes with its suspension being the greatest beneficiary. Other changes include a slightly better acceleration and a quieter ride quality. The power output remains unaltered.

Interior wise, the seats are comfortable and supportive and you’ll find driving for long distances less tiring than before. The odd-seating position has been overhauled by the more natural oriented-seat design. In a nutshell, the Prius seems to have gotten most things right this time round (not that the previous model was disappointing either).

But even with all these features in place, the 2017 Toyota Prius seems to suffer from several things such as a less spacious backseat like in the previous model, a polarizing styling, and offset gauges. Other than that, the 2017 Toyota Prius is more than your liking.

Other alternatives in the segment include the 2017 Ford Fusion, the 2017 Chevrolet Volt, and the 2017 Toyota Camry Hybrid.

2017 Toyota Prius Engine Specs

Under the hood of the four-door, five-passenger 2017 Toyota Prius is a combination of a four-cylinder 1.8L engine and a pair of electric motors working in synergy to produce about 121 horsepower. This power is then fed to the front wheels via the Continuously Variable Transmission system.

It will only take you about 9.8 seconds to get past 60 mph with the 2017 Toyota Prius Three. This is a solid acceleration considering the previous 2017 Toyota Camry takes 2.1 seconds more to zoom past the same mark.

EPA says we should expect a fuel return of about 50/54/52 mpg on the highway/city/combined. However, those looking for more frugality should consider opting for the astonishing 53/58/56 mpg rating for the new Prius Two model.

2017 Toyota RAV4 Release Date

The new 2017 Toyota RAV4 offers impressive everyday utility, features, and passenger space. Other highlights include superb ride comfort, well-sorted tech interface, and lots of interior technologies even for the basic trim model. Its release date should be expected sometime in early 2017.

What stands out among RAV4’s list of highlights is its seamless combination of comfortable and well-equipped interior, versatility, and interior space. And as one sports fan will attest, you might have a well-rounded team, an award winning coach and pack the stands, but still fail to find glory. Well, the newest Toyota RAV4 might just be the perfect the best metaphor here. Even with such amazing traits, it still comes a bit short in terms of segment rankings. Trouble is, there is a plethora of similarly or better equipped options in its category.

2017 Toyota RAV4 rear side

To its credit, though, the automobile giant has tinkered with the model this year in hopes of rejuvenating it. The interior design, of example, comes with more pronounced lines and angles that provide a modern-looking and streamlined dash. The cupholder count is adequate, but a few of the climate and audio controls feel slightly flimsy. However, if you’re looking for a premium upholstery such as leather, you’re outta lack as the model only offers leatherette and cloth upholstery.

The RAV4 SE boasts of sporty suspension and sporty styling. Toyota added it to the RAV4 trim lineup because it hoped it would follow in the footsteps of Sienna SE and Camry both of which offer sport-tuned suspension and improved handling and steering. You’d be right to say the RAV4 continues with its polished resume for 2017 model year, but what you might not realize is how much its rivals have grown both in character and in performance.

2017 Toyota Tundra Diesel Price Release Date

The Toyota Tundra for 2017 is a capable truck that offers a serious off-road performance, however, the Japanese brand may find it an uphill task competing against its American rivals in other respects. 2017 Toyota Tundra Diesel is definitely one of the most interesting diesel machine on the market.

Some of its strengths include a unique off-road themed TRD Pro model, strong and powerful V8 powertrains, user-friendly technology interface, a large double cab with traditional rear doors, and a CrewMax cab trim juggernaut. Its release date should be expected in May 2017, if online reports are anything to go by.

For 2017, the TRD Pro gains an upgraded electronics interface, a mildly revised front end styling, a lather gas tank, an integrated trailer brake control, and a TRD Off-road package for the 1794 trim.

Frankly speaking, the full-size pickup truck is proudly and unabashedly American creation, so is Apple Pie, Baseball, and McDonalds fast foods. So, it is quite apparent that the new 2017 Toyota Tundra might find itself isolated in some respects relative to American-made trucks from brands such as GM, Ford, and Ram.

One might think it’s because it’s a Japanese-made truck, well, it is but it’s made from scratch here in the United States. Much has to do with its age. Despite the vehicle undergoing a major overhaul some few years back, which brought updated features, an improved cabin, and a revised exterior and interior styling, Toyota still missed the mark.

Relative to other trucks which roped in changes like weight reduction through the extensive use of aluminum, fuel sipping engines, and updated suspension tuning, the changes made to the Tundra were akin to a kitchen remodel as compared to fully rebuilding the vehicle all the way up from the foundation and breaking out the wrecking ball. In a nutshell, the revisions weren’t enough to make notable advances or enough to fix the burgeoning number of flaws.

See, its competitors have come out of their comfort zones and reinvented almost every vehicular facet and made incremental improvements that have allowed them to keep up with the Joneses. The Toyota Tundra doesn’t invest any efforts at all in comparison to other models. With a Tundra, you won’t get a V6 engine, good fuel economy ratings, and the driving experience is literally subpar.

In all fairness, you are better off purchasing another model. Some alternatives include the 2017 Nissan Titan XD, the 2017 GMC Sierra, 2017 RAM 1500, and the Chevrolet Silverado.

2016 Toyota Tacoma

The redesigned Toyota Tacoma for 2016 boasts an updated interior, a new V6 engine, and a capable off-road performance. It’s recommended for anyone shopping in the midsize truck segment. Some of its strengths include a peerless resale value, an extensive list of options, an excellent off-road ability, a responsive touchscreen interface, and a refined V6 engine. Its release date should be expected this July.

For more than two decades now, the Toyota Tacoma has continued to be a competitive pickup truck that has provided its buyers an alternative to the often-perceived large and costly full-size regular trucks. If you’ve been a seasoned user of the previous versions of the Tacoma, the 2016 Toyota Tacoma won’t offer any major surprises apart from the usual refreshments.

Traditional users may find the new notable improvements made on the 2016 model to have, to some extent, burnished its appeal. The new model doesn’t come with the dinky steel wheels found on the regular cab 4×2 stripper. You only have to choose between the crew cab and the extended cab body styles.

What hasn’t changed though, is Tacoma’s off-road performance repertoire. It also gets the Crawl Control system that it borrowed from the Land Cruiser and the 4Runner. One interesting add-on that the new vehicle comes with is the GoPro mount that gives users the capability of recording their driving experiences.

Things get even better under the hood. With a revised 4.0L V6 engine that offers 42 more horsepower than the previous model, the new Tacoma promises a memorable driving adventure. The base engine returns as before and carries over its power output unchanged.

In overall, we’d say the new 2016 Toyota Tacoma is well-positioned to retain its throne among other midsize pickup trucks. That said, you should still look around the segment to see what the segment offers in terms of alternatives. Some of them include the 2016 Chevrolet Colorado, the 2016 GMC Canyon, and the 2016 Nissan Frontier.

2016 Toyota Avalon Hybrid

The Toyota Avalon is the car that always receives a top rating among large sedan vehicles. With eh recent updated to the car the 2016 version was released. The 2016 Toyota Avalon Hybrid has been highly remodeled and fitted with high level comfort enhancements that are suitable for this type of a car, but the larges news was that it now comes with a possible hybrid engine powertrain that you can chose to use.

The 2016 Toyota Avalon Hybrid vehicle is not a type of vehicle that makes you want to drive it, it does not beg nor does it asks of you to do such a thing, but in fact it happens that you are the one who wants to do this more than anybody. What the car attracts people with is luxury and interior comfort. It is as comfortable as anything that you have sat on and it even goes a step further than that. It is certainly something that will make you change your mind from getting a Lexus vehicle and make you chose it instead.

The added powertrain is a spectacular new choice for this year. As the Avalon vehicle has already been a fair vehicle in its performance and driving characteristics, it was only a matter of time when a hybrid powertrain was supposed to introduce. The given upgrade in the engine department allows better fuel economy and driving specs which will also bring a lot of fans over to the Avalon brand. Check out the latest review for more information.

2016 Toyota Avalon Hybrid exterior

What is interesting about the design of the new 2016 Toyota Avalon Hybrid car is that it has been designed and made entirely in California, but finished and developed in Michigan. With a more American kind of craftsmanship a new look also comes as well and with the added hybrid powertrain is something that may attract the fans of this brand even more.  The most noticeable change is seen immediately at the front side where the car comes with a newly added grille design. It is wider than before but the front fascia has been revised as well with the added slits on turn signals in the place where the turn signals used to be. Perhaps the changes are not that much, but it affects the car in a sense that it makes it look more angular at the front and a little less rounded than before.

From the profile, it is an easy looking car. The roofline is perfectly matted to the subtle arc that is seen in the beltline, while fitting the rear pillar arch there as well. But the back design is something that we see some faults into. It is a bit too generic looking and there was supposed to be some more redesign added to it. The taillights have been refreshed, but that is all, and there was supposed to be a lot more in fact. The car now sits on some new wheels and it uses the 17-inch and 18-inch options now.

2016 Toyota Avalon Hybrid rear side

The inside of the car has been given a lot of attention this time. The 2016 Toyota Avalon Hybrid was redesigned in a great matter and it is not at all as people might think a Camry knockoff. What the makers in Toyota wanted to do was to add a premium feel to the design of the car, and they have in most cases managed to achieve just that. There are some nicely featured surfaces and the front part gets a wood grain trim that is combined with a striated surface. On top of it all sit the climate controls and the audio controls as well which are much closer to the driver. All of this is stacked on a dash zone which is filled up with metallic parts.

This part of the car may have the most typical look of a Toyota vehicle but actually has been remodeled in a so much greater way than that. Wits some hard plastic inserts it completes the look quite well. But with the fact that there are no major interior design updates in the technology department added, the car will still use the old 7.0-inch Entune infotainment screen.

2016 Toyota Avalon Hybrid interior

With the added hybrid powertrain the 2016 Toyota Avalon Hybrid has been getting more attention recently. This kind of a vehicle incorporates some nice and comfy characteristics and does well to bring a hybrid engine together with the already present concept of the Avalon that it was known for. A  four-cylinder engine is combined with the all new designed battery pack to bring a very nice combination for a powertrain that is now able to produce 200 horsepower. It also enables it to hit the 60 mph mark in 8.2 seconds. Bu the EPA ratings are what people are interested here the most and they stand at 40 mpg at a combined rate.

Price and release date

The newly awaited 2016 Toyota Avalon Hybrid is one of the most expected cars in the present lineup of Toyota. But people will have to take it easy until the car gets actually released. 2016 Toyota Hilux

Fans of rugged truck will be happy to know that Toyota is updating its Hilux brand for the 2016 model year. This time we get to see an update under the hood as well which will include several powertrain options and a choice between gearboxes. The engines will actually differ base on the trim and the market the Hilux gets to be released in, but we are certain that you will not end up disappointed as they are trying to enhance the power of the car, which will affect tits performance and towing capacity as well.

Exterior and Interior Changes and Improvement of 2016 Toyota Hilux Vehicle Model

The market is currently in need of cars which can serve a double use, being an utility vehicle and a daily driver is much appreciated by a regular person who looks for a car. The Toyota Hilux aims to provide that as it remains a vehicle which is meant for high-riding and utility, but can still provide momentum when it comes to taking a ride through town. The car will have a long wheelbase and short overhangs, making the approach and the departure angles much easier than before. The changes seen in the front of the car include a chore roll bar placed in the front part of the bed. But this only serves an aesthetic purpose and does not come with a useful function. If you want more aesthetics, you can opt for a big blocked Toyota sign which goes across the tailgate. Generally the truck is much more modern looking and appealing, which complements this two-fold purpose that the car will have. It is rugged enough to serve any utility purpose but good looking to an extent that will make any city drive enjoyable.

As the exterior has improved the inside has taken three steps more than the outside. The inside of the Toyota Hilux has improved greatly and has been remodeled for the 2016 year. This is where all the necessary and needed changes have happen. The Inside sports a black color pattern which is very nice but does not make the inside look gloomy as the aluminum trim brightens up the place a bit while the stitching on the seats and the upholstery adds an overall appealing tone to it. The dashboard is related to the Corolla’s but does not look completely the same, more like a distant cousin. It has a horizontal shape and also includes a new steering wheel mated on it with some new controls and gauges added to it which have been toned down in order not to clutter the place and making driving impossible.

Inside Specs

To make life much easier inside the new Hilux, you have a new and updated infotainment system with added haptic feedback buttons. When you look at it you might mistake it for a tablet PC actually, if we count out the CD/DVD slot that is, and right below the main screen you will find the HVAC controls placed. This has all been neatly laid out and is easy to reach and use. Simplicity and usefulness for driving is what the car offers it does not make the drive complicated and provides you with easy access to all of the controls of switches of the car.

Engine Transmission

This year you will be granted the use of no less than four engine options for the new Hilux truck. The first one is the 2.8-liter turbodiesel engine option that can make a total of 174 horsepower and 331 pound-feet of torque, but if you want a smaller diesel engine, then there is the 2.4-liter turbodiesel  one that makes 160 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The gasoline engine options, on the other hand, include a 2.7-liter four-cylinder that can make 164 horsepower or the 4.0-liter V-6 with the output of 278 horsepower. Of course a drivetrain cannot be complete without a good gearbox to go with it. This time we have standard transmission is a six-speed manual transmission t which comes with truck-based rev matching technology. The second option that comes available is the six-speed automatic transmission. The combinations of the current powertrain setup for the 2016 Toyota Hilux car can provide better fuel economy, a larger driving range and reduced engine noise.

2016 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid

Hybrid vehicles introduced by Toyota have already made a huge impact on the automotive market since they were released. For the 2016 model year, Toyota is releasing more hybrid cars than the previous one. Riding on the hype that these type of vehicles have produced Toyota plans to include a hybrid version to all of its top selling cars by the year 2020. This time we review the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid option which gets to be released now for the 2016 model year. The car is already a good investment when you thing about fuel economy, The RAV4 has always had some good fuel economy specs and has provided the customers an efficient vehicle available at an affordable price. With the addition of a hybrid powertrain, they are setting the bar even higher, or lower as is the case with the fuel usage. The RAV4 hybrid will be the favorite vehicle for the people who are looking to save some money on fuel. A unique feature is that this time we will get to see a much different design of the RAV4 Hybrid version opposed to its base option. The car is much more distinguishable and sports a completely different design to its base counterpart. As you can see from the pictures provided, the car looks pretty good and if you want to see it in person the only way you can do that is at its release during the New York Auto Show. Read on to find out the specs and the price of the vehicle as well.

2016 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Exterior

The case with the exterior design of the RAV4 hybrid vehicle for the 2016 model year is that it looks much better compared to the base version of the car that comes out for the same model year. It has been updated to be much more modern looking and has a futuristic tone to it if you look at it closely. The most noticeable thing is that the front end of the car has taken a book from Toyota Mirai’s design and included it and made it its own. It is not a complete copy of course, but you can see where the idea comes from. The entire front look is actually exclusive for the Hybrid version of the car and includes an edgier fascia that has been added at the front with smaller headlights as well.

The back changes are not that exclusive but there are some. Most noticeable are the clear-lensed taillights which give a certain charm to the car. The rest of the changes are the Toyota’s signature blue highlight on the corporate logos and some new color schemes that this model includes. The offered color palate includes the Magnetic Gray Metallic, Super White, Classic Silver Metallic, Blizzard Pearl, Black Sand Pearl  and an exclusive new color that has simply been dubbed as Blue by Toyota.

Inside Changed Design

The inside has not been drastically changed for that matter. As the focus was to concentrate more on the exterior look of the Toyota RAV4 hybrid version, the inside was not updated that much. So if you are familiar with the interior setup of the base version of the RAV4, you will have no trouble in dealing with the hybrid version as well. The most noticeable changes, on the other hand, are seen on the gauge cluster as there are the hybrid components that are necessary for the function of the car added. Another thing is the interior spacing of the car. The added hybrid powertrain takes up a bit of the space which the RAV4 has. Actually the basics version is perceived as quite a roomy vehicle with ample cargo space, but when it comes to fitting the hybrid components it eats up too much space than people hope it would. Not to say that it’s too cramped on the inside but feels a little bit tighter compared to the roominess that is available in its base version.

Powertrain Specs and Horsepower

The powertrain of the 2016 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid will still combine the same engine that was used before in its original shape. The 2.5-liter inline-four engine will combine with the hybrid technology but the power ratings have still to be announced. As we have no confirmation to say how much they actually are we can only say that Toyota has announced that it will be bigger than the 176 horsepower that the base version has provided. It will combine with an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission and come standardly equipped with Toyota’s Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel-Drive System. This system uses a separate rear electric motor that adds torque to the vehicle and increases acceleration. The EPA rating are also kept under the radar but as a similar powertrain combination has been used inside the Lexus NS 300h, we assume that the fuel economy will be somewhere around 33 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway.
