McLaren tries to expand its super series of vehicles by adding the 2017 McLaren 570 GT model to its lineup. After the 570S and the 540C Coupe, which is unfortunately a Euro-only version, the 570 GT model is going to be a fine and a nice addition to the ever expanding range of McLaren vehicles. This new model brings a lot of intrigue and can very likely topple the popularity of the previous model as it expands with more luggage space besides the already base features that these models have. All of this an even more will be showcased before the release date at the Geneva Auto Show.
The McLaren vehicles are ultra-fast, daily driver sports car, as they announced their Super Series of cars. They can easily go against whatever Mercedes has to pin against them and even tackle on a Porsche 911 Turbo. The 2017 McLaren 570GT is going to retain those features and bring some added abilities as it is much better suited for long, continent-crushing drives. It has a revised cabin and an elongated panoramic roof. We were a bit surprised of the car retaining its 2 seat configuration as there were some rumors of a 2+2 setup, but McLaren denied this from happening.

The 2017 McLaren 570 GT is going to be built using the MonoCell II carbon-fiber tub which was also used for the 570S and 540C Coupes as McLaren continues to incorporate this kind of way of developing their cars. The great news is that the car has been confirmed for its US release and for more information about all of the specs of this car just keep reading the review.
2017 McLaren 570 GT Price Exterior
The exterior design of the 2017 McLaren 570 GT is actually to follow and borrow a lot from the 570S. The front end of the car is pretty much the same as it uses a similar P1-inspired styling and aerodynamic design. The trunk lid actually has strong crease lines which are there in order to optimize the air flow over the front fenders of the car and the aero blades below the bumper are there in order to create an area of high pressure ahead of the radiators.
There are some similarities on the side view of the car with dihedral doors and large side vents but smaller intakes placed atop the rear fenders. The only change worth mentioning are teh body-colored door inserts that make the 570 GT distinguishable compared to the 570C and 570S models. But the side view also sees a slightly different shape which goes towards the rear end of the car.

The vented hood is now replaced with a side-opening glass hatch which has a gap between the panoramic glass roof and the deck lid. It perhaps brings a less aggressive look for the car but manages to keep it sporty. Btu with these changes the aerodynamics were put off a bit so in order to make things better a rear spoiler that’s 10 mm taller than the one on other vehicles is used and stabilizes the car very much. There is also a revised deck lid fitted in the lower section of the grille.
Interior Changes of 2017 McLaren 570 GT
There are actually a lot of changes made on the inside of the 2017 McLaren 570 GT, perhaps even more than we have expected it to be. Let’s start with the fixed glass panoramic roof which comes as standard. And because of the extended glass area, the model uses a revised air conditioning system with a dual-zone unit that is fully automatic and has independent settings for both passengers up front.
One of the more important features of the car is the extended luggage compartment. They are calling it a Touring Deck and is positioned just above the engine and can be accessed using the side opening glass hatch. It adds additional 7.8 cubic feet of storage space and is completely wrapped in leather, making the overall storage space 13.1 cubic feet which is more than impressive for a sports car model.
The model also features a much more quieter cabin which is not only made possible due to the new revised exhaust system but also because of the standard McLaren Audi o Plus sound system and specially developed Pirelli tires. There is an optional eight-speaker audio system features two 100mm mid/bass drive units and two 25mm tweeters in the rear.
Other features include the heated sports seats upholstered in high-quality leather, eight-way adjustment, a touchscreen for the infotainment and navigation, Nappa leather, a TFT instrument cluster, and carbon-fiber inserts.
