2017 Ford Fiesta ST200 Review

There were a lot of interesting news released from Ford recently which ultimately saw the release of a 2017 Ford Fiesta ST200 finally confirmed. Actually this release came at the expense of the Ford Fiesta RS model as it was finally announced that a new model is not going to be built this year. But it gave a lot of room and a lot of time for the ST200 version to prosper and finally get updated. The hot hatch model is a high-performance version of the car and is going to make its debut next year.

The Ford Fiesta ST200 first came on the market in 2013 and had an output of 179 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque, which was mainly thanks to a 1.6-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine. The 2017 version is set to appear in Geneva for the first time for its official showcasing and reports say that it is going to dictate a power higher than the previous one. Actually as reported, it may go up to 10 percent more power and 20 percent more torque. This model is also unique as it brings us a list of features that we would otherwise not get in any other Ford model on the market.

The Chief Executive of Ford has recently stated that all of their new and modern vehicles come with the Ford Performance offering, which has been becoming stronger and stronger in recent years as it developed. The Ford’s EcoBoost engine technology is the one to thank and it will only be getting stronger and better. Until the release date of the 2017 Ford Fiesta ST200 and its unveiling, we can study the review and discuss about it as well.

2017 Ford Fiesta ST200 Exterior

The exterior of the 2017 Ford Fiesta ST200 has not suffered many changes compared to the latest model. The vehicles is still very much young and has not been on the market for that long, but they still decide to give it an update. With an already good looking exterior there was not much work that needed to be done. The most noticeable thing is the Storm Grey finish. The model also changes the and adds black color on the front grille, corner vents air dam louvers, mirror arms which are going to combine with the new 17-inch alloy wheels  and helping to comprise the visual package of the car in a great way.

22017 Ford Fiesta ST200 exterior front side

The color was a great choice, which was strange as they had gone with a darker tone instead of a brighter and an eye-catching one. But this new one actually suits the car far better as it also combines with the red brake calipers  that came standard and a brand new ST 200” badge placed on the rear hatch.

The Ford Performance has been upgraded as well with a little bit of fine tuning of the suspension dampers the spring both in the front and rear end of the car. This makes the ride height of the car drop by 15 mm and at the same time lowers the car’s center of gravity.

Interior Changes

There are some great changes made on the interior of the 2017 Ford Fiesta ST200. First of all, the Recaro seats from the ST have been transferred here and are this time wrapped in Charcoal colored leather which combines with silver stitching. The seatbelts also have silver detailing and there is some illumination made to car’s scuff plates. An interesting change is that eth Ford Fiesta ST200 2017 is going to have door handles that are going to face towards the front while the mirror and window controls are going to be a bit further down.

2017 Ford Fiesta ST200 interior specs

The door panels are also completely revamped but the storage pockets are the only part which has been transferred and used from the previous model. This makes the interior much better and much cleaner looking as it does not come with any bulky parts.

Both the steering wheel, the instrument cluster and the dash are coming in unaltered but there are some small changes made in fact. First of all the infotainment control knob is different and there is a ST200 badge placed on the  center console. The changes inside are perhaps few but it really makes a whole lot of difference when we compare it to the regular model.

Engine Specs of 2017 Ford Fiesta ST200

The engine specs are perhaps the most important thing about the 2017 Ford Fiesta ST200, and with an engine like the 1.6-liter, EcoBoost, four-cylinder one it is really worth taking about it. This model is able to churn out 97 horsepower and 213 pound-feet of torque, which is a massive increase compared to the ST200 that debuted in 2013. With the added tuning that make the power of the car higher, there is an added  transient overboost, which when activated adds another 15 horsepower and 22 pound-feet for up to 15 seconds on demand to the car.

The newest Ford vehicle manages to sprint to 0-60 mph in just 6.6 seconds, improving the specs form the last time, and also makes a higher top speed in the same time by making a total of 143 mph.

2017 Ford Flex Review and Price

The newest 2017 Ford Flex vehicle is coming out. But this model features only a mild remix of things that we got to see in the previous update for this car. As Ford has had a lot of things on their hands with the latest releases and models that are suppose to come out this and next year, the designing of the Flex took its toll. The model does not change dramatically and essentially looks as it previous incarnation.

The model was first released in 2007, featured for the first time at the New York auto show. The model actually went on sale in 2008 and was a refreshing new design that Ford offered for this segment. The next model cam in 2011 when the car received a larger updated building up on the success it had with the initial model. The 2011 design was showcased at the LA Auto Show and featured a three-bar grille and “FLEX” lettering which were placed instead of the Ford lettering but a more interesting update was the addition of a V-6 engine.

Next came the 2014 model which gave us a facelift to the previous version and is actually the model that the 2017 version copies form and based its design on. This is now an expanded version of that model which does not manage to expand with a whole lot. You can still get the six or seven seat versions and an option of a RWD or an AWD system. The price is pretty much the same but a little bit higher. Check out the updates done as viewed from this review and learn more new information about the release date.

Actually the greatest addition are the two new exterior colors that the model receives, Sunset Metallic and Oxford White.

The SE trim features halogen headlamps with autolamp feature, rear window defroster, power door locks, speed-sensitive front windshield wipers, black roof-rack side rails with a body colored roof.

2017 Ford King Ranch F-250 Concept

The 2017 Ford King Ranch F-250 version is back. This year we are going to be treated to another model which is going to have more power and bring us a different kind of a setup compared to the base version. This model has been characterized by enabling higher towing capabilities, an expanded payload and more power. With vertical door handles and a rectangular grille we had a model which managed to do one over on the competition and give us an option with a different kind of bodywork and interior presentation.

But the 2017 version is going to change all of that as it brings us a brother cab section while also using different kind of sheetmetal. The shape is different and changes the style a little bit and it also uses some aluminum in order to shape up the things in a better way and cut some weight. This is something that all contemporary Ford cars have been doing in order to reshape their offer.

The all new frame is going to be constructed on a new 95 percent high-strength steel. The backbone is fully boxed and is 24 percent stiffer that the previous Ford King Ranch 250 frame. It is unusual to gloat about a truck like this and how light it is, but  actually the model drops 250 pounds and manages to make the fuel efficiency ratings much better. Keep reading the review so you can find out the newest specs and release date news.

2017 Ford King Ranch F-250 Exterior

The 2017 Ford King Ranch F-250 version is going to sport a new kind of an exterior design. It is going to offer us a new type of grille to the front and will distinguish it from the base version. But this is not the only thing that makes a difference here. The model is blush and also has different headlights, but is still manages to keep true to its roots as it transfers a lot of the design characteristics from the old school 1998 version. The grille has a twin-bar and adds vertical side vents which are placed inside the headlights. The front bumper is still available with the closed-loop tow hooks while the windows have the downward slope kept as well.

The cabin is different from before as they have made it to cut the costs and be more functional and production friendly this time. The side vents that have been added to the cabin actually help distinguish between the trims as well and give us the chassis rating as well. The model also gets a completely new lighting package, with Quad-beam LED headlights as class executive ones. There are the LED side spotlights also mounted in the side mirrors as well and the cargo box is also lit up by some LED additions. The rear end of the car has been changed as well and the taillights also have the accent lines seen in the tailgate.

Interior Specs

The interior of the  2017 Ford King Ranch F-250 has a very familiar environment and still manages to keep a great surrounding and give us an entirely satisfying interior. Actually it is more or less the same as the F-150 model, which helps the manufacturers save time and money during development. But this helps the King Ranch 250 model a lot particularly as it has low-sheen and keeps the glare to a minimum.  The positioning of the switches is ergonomic and it has a logical setup to it. This includes the TFT display screens, SYNC technology and all the buttons and knobs of the dash.

But there are also some difference that separate the F-150 and the King Ranch 250’s interior from each other. First of all, there is a second glove box which is finished in an aluminum trim. There are some optional auxiliary switches offered as well but have been relocated to the overhead compartment now. The trailer brake controller is moved a few inches forward as well and this completes the changes made to the interior of the car.

Engine Performance

The powertrain of the 2017 Ford King Ranch F-250 is a familiar choice. The truck is going to continue on using the 6.2-liter gasoline V-8  engine as its base choice and also offer the 6.7-liter Power Stroke V-8 one as well. There is another option of choosing the most powerful engine on display which is the 6.8-liter gasoline V-10 one. All three of the engines can be combined with an automatic transmission. Unfortunately, the horsepower specs have not been disclosed as of yet and there are perhaps going to be some changes there, particularly for the higher. So keep an eye out of some potential updates that might appear soon.

2017 Fiat Toro

Toro – an Italian name meaning “bull”, is the latest model Fiat has been working on and which is expected to come with lots of reasons why buyers should at least wait for it. Despite the Turin-based automaker having a reputation for building for constructing retro-inspired, and often dainty city cars, the new 2017 Fiat Toro which is primarily intended for the Brazilian market is indeed a masterpiece of creativity and innovation. Its release should be expected in January 2017 if at all media reports are anything to go by.

Thanks in part to the slender headlights, styling cues, and hexagonal grille, the new truck now packs more ruggedness than any other vehicle ever built by Fiat. It compares similarly to the FCC4 concept that was presented sometime back in most facet of its construction. Although they differ in terms of designs and mechanical underpinnings.

From the body works that include a sharply lower bumper, alloy wheels, and a roof rack, seen in the pictures circulating in the social media platforms, it is undoubtedly going to be a well-equipped vehicle that might leave its competitors in stitches once available.

In terms of dimensions, the vehicle stretches 193” long which represents about 26” more than the 2017 Jeep Renegade or 19” less than the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado. In terms of competition, both the 2017 Ford Ranger and the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado come close. The latter comes with a variety of features and strengths that are either more superior or inferior depending on your priorities, they include a strong set of engines offered with either manual or automatic transmission systems, a variety of body styles and both 2WD and 4WD configurations.

The 2017 Ford Ranger, on the other side, is a very capable truck that offers better utilities and luxurious amenities. Space and high-tech features are the main features that endear many people to it.

At the time of this writing, Fiat hasn’t yet revealed what lies beneath its skin, but reports published by Brazilian media outlets allege the all-new 2017 Fiat Toro will comes with riding on the same platform as the Jeep Renegade. To this end, though, we have reports that allege the new 2017 Toro base model will feature a 1.8L E-Torq four-cylinder engine that can run on either ethanol or gasoline. The former fuel is growing in popularity in Brazil and shouldn’t come as a surprise.

The four-banger according to Fiat, comes mated to a six-cylinder automatic transmission which then forwards the 138-hp produced to the front wheels. Additionally, for those who want a little bit of a power bump, there is the 170-hp producing four-cylinder 2.0L turbodiesel engine to satisfy their insatiable power demands at least to some extent. Also, the six-speed transmission system is standard, as is the front wheel drive. However, for buyers who want to go off the unbeaten path, there is the AWD system available for an extra.

According to Fiat, 2,200 pounds is the maximum towing capacity the new 2017 Fiat Toro will offer regardless of the powertrain offered. Additionally, credible reports place its top speed at 120 mph, and 0-60 mph acceleration at 10.0 seconds.

Actually it has been less than a year when the sixth-generation Mustang appeared on the market and this is a continuation on that model which provides us with many customizable features. The most important thing is that it is a convertible and that it looks back a bit to the traditional and old school Ford Mustang car that has beer previous produced.

The thing with the previous model was that it was too much criticized for modernizing the car too much. A lot of fans were complaining as they were unable to see the real Mustang car underneath. 2016 Ford F-750 Tonka exterior

Well we cannot even begin to describe the look of this vehicle without using the words BIG. The design and massive and enormous and the 2016 Ford F-750 is a very imposing dump truck. The frame of the truck holds a huge front bumper and grille with eh equally enormous hood up front and has a single cab which is also used in the Ford Super Duty assembly. You can notice that this is a Ford design just by looking at the grille of the car. The signature blacked out grille with the nostrils on both sides and some lateral slots is something of a trademark features of Ford. The design is actually inspired by the Ford E-Series utility van which also had the same kind of a concept look.

2016 Ford F-750 Tonka sign

The truck also has an Econoline visual influence to it, particularly based on the headlights design. The bumper is made out of three pieces which actually makes it a lot easier when repairing the damages that might occur as you do not have to substitute the whole thing but only the ones with the damaged section. There are also cut outs for the hook to be placed and some air vents as well to enable the air flow. The 2016 Ford F-750 Tonka wheels that are part of the design have the same yellow design color to match the truck and are wrapped in highway rubber. In the business end of the truck you can find the twin “Built Ford Tough” mud flaps, a swinging tailgate and trailer hitch complete with D-rings and pintle hitch.

It is mostly based on smaller Super Duty series, and based on this you will know that the truck means business.

The first one and the base one inside the 2016 Ford F-750 Tonka is the 6.8-liter V-10 engine, but for those who are keep on actually hauling heavier loads a far better option is the 6.7-liter Power Stroke V-8 turbodiesel choice, yet it does not produce the same amount of power as inside the Super Duty trucks. The 2017 year model brings many innovations that are surely going to dazzle the public.

The Raptor has always been characterized as being a heavyweight bruiser and will retain these characteristics for the upcoming model as well as it is something that makes up the style of the tuck, and we wouldn’t want it any other way. But the newest design will be updated with so much more, the aluminum bodywork and a beefy high-strength steel frame will combine well with an updated interior. Add to that the new Ford’s EcoBoost technology and a new engine option and you get the new 2017 model all wrapped up and ready to go.

Some may say that the Raptor has lost its mojo and that the new version does not incorporate the soul of a 2017 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, but the car needs to go with times and it is a perfect update for a vehicle like this one. As you can see from the pictures the car does not drastically changes from its rugged stance. It has all the makings of a great truck and Ford has done once more a great job in updating it. Read the review to find out about the particular changes and how the car has been updated.

The Raptor takes its exterior design to a new level. The 2017 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor model adopts some parts that have been taken from the 2015 F-150 model and has been widen to 6 inches more in order to increase its stability. Both the front and rear bumpers have been raised so the approach and departure angles are different now. There is also a very useful change in the headlights as the halogen ones have been exchanged with the LED ones and it helps in providing more light than before. There is going to be a change in wheel size as well as the car will use the 17-inch ones. It uses BFGoodrich’s latest iteration of its iconic All-Terrain TA tire which is the K02 one.

The off-roading ability of the vehicle is very much enhanced with the newest design. Not only will some standard features help, but something like the new tires will help in providing better stability on different types of roads and also enable the car to make it through some of the toughest terrains there is. The side boards will return this model year as well and the same fenders will also be used this time. At the back it has more similarities with the current F-150 car, but does come with a massive “FORD” block lettering that stretches from side to side. But a great new addition is the dual exhaust system which balances the look a bit and even adds the receiver hitch which comes as a standard form of equipment.

The addition of a F-150 order form lessens that Raptor interior a bit and combines well for a great look. The 2017 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor model comes with a very comfy interior and a suitable upgrade of comfort. The best additions are the unique seats with leather and suede inserts. It is a very useful addition as it shows many information simultaneously and enables the car to be fully focused on the driving. It gives you stats about your off-road info, engine performance and some mechanical stats as well. As for the engine, there are many updates that come available for the 2017 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor model. The first update comes in the form of a newly updated 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6.This engine has been cranked and is more powerful than the previous 6.2-liter V-8. It rates at 411 horsepower and 434 pound-feet of torque, but the EcoBoost is said to be able to produce more.  The V-8 engine has loads of power but lacks on efficiency, and thus the EcoBoost has been chosen to fix that, thus the power output of the new engine has been set at some 450 hp. The engine will be combined with a 10-speed automatic transmission with F1-style paddle shifters. It does not only enable better fuel economy stats but it also helps with better gearing abilities as well.

Some special type of features are added this time, like the “Torque-On-Demand” which is used to distribute power to both the front and rear axles with the all-wheel-drive-like system along with a mechanical-locking four-wheel-drive system. Also added is the next-generation Terrain Management System that Ford has introduced here.
