With ample legroom, fuel-efficient V6, competitive price, and lengthy standard features, the new 2021 Acura RDX undoubtedly offers buyers a solid choice for their hard-earned cash. Its release date should be expected in the fall of 2021.
A first for the RDX include a new optional touchscreen interface, brightened interior, freshened LED taillights and headlights, and grille. Others include a blind-spot monitoring system, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and automatic wipers.
Boasting a sophisticated all-wheel-drive system and a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, the RDX made an unprecedented rebound onto the scene as Acura’s high-tech wonder kid. However, it didn’t resonate well as Acura had hoped for, so three years ago, the Acura design engineers put in extra effort to make it a conventional small luxury crossover. AS expected, the RDX quickly became the trending model for Acura and even ranks highly on our favorite list.
For 2021, the trend is expected to continue judging from the changes and redesigns that have been made on the vehicle. To start off with, it comes with high-tech driving aides previously a reserve for luxury-branded vehicles, and which was conspicuously missing on the previous RDX models. Also, we are pleased to see top-rated safety features, for instance, a blind-spot monitor, a forward collision warning system, lane assist, and adaptive cruise control.
And apart from the added high-tech features, we still like some unique features previously available on the RDX. On offer this year, is a lone engine that offers better EPA fuel economy ratings thanks in part to the cylinder deactivation system. Interior wise, things only get better, it comes with a comfortable and spacious cabin that makes every day driving a pleasurable experience.
Despite this review holding the RDX in high regards, it still comes with some few faults just as any vehicle we have reviewed. For instance, some of its traditional rivals still offer a more prestigious and sporty driving experience. They include 2021 BMW X1 and BMW X3, 2021 Audi Q5, and 2021 Volvo XC60.

2021 Acura RDX Release Date & Price
Its release date should be expected in the fall of 2021, according to very reliable sources party to Acura RDX’s operations. As for its price. Expect it to set you back by an MSRP starting from $37,078.
In overall, the vehicle has some laudable achievements. It’s handling and steering feels right and changes direction with confidence and poise. We highly recommend this vehicle, and would still make an affordable alternative to its overly priced rivals like the 2021 Lexus RX.
