2017 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Release Date and Review

The 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulietta marks a mid-cycle facelift which is going to lead to the introduction of a next generation model which is scheduled to come out soon. It has been around five years already when the newest Giulietta was introduced and the sales numbers have been dwindling for the past few years.

The Italian automaker managed to introduce the Giulia QV, which was a success, and decided to keep the changes of the Giulietta to a minimum, which later resulted in poor sales numbers. Bringing it back a bit is this 2017 update which is going slowly lead to a revival of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta brand which is scheduled for release in the near future.

The car has been in talks for a time now but it was immediately known that the latest car is not going to be shaped too drastically and differently. When the car was spotted doing rounds in its camo, the spy photos revealed a model which is going to retain much of the characteristics of the car. This was also for the interior and the exterior of the car. The model cannot compete with the likes of Ford Focus or Volkswagen Golf in this manner so this is why a complete overhaul is being saved for the next generation model and the future.

The Alfa Romeo brand has been struggling recently when outputting their cars on the market and that was largely seen with the late arrival of the Alfa Romeo Giulia and the release of their first ever SUV model as well. The 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulietta is thus going to receive a minor facelift which might not give it a fighting chance compared to the competition it is facing. Nevertheless, this review will tell you what the car is made of and what we can expect form it once the release date comes.

2017 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Exterior Review

The new exterior style of the 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulietta does not bring that many differences compared to the current model. The front end does bring a new Alfa Romeo shield that uses a honeycomb grille which is used instead of the horizontal-slat layout from before. It also combines with new badge that also has a new styling.

The same type of a honeycomb grille is featured on the bumper which receives blacks inserts and has a sportier character. The rear end of the car is completely identical to the outgoing model and does not feature any changes at all. The only difference is a small change to the bumper design and the addition of  oblique tailpipes. And finally, there are some new alloy wheels added as well.

Besides this there are some other upgrades in an attempt to give more sprat to the Alfa Romeo Giulietta 2017. These include red front bumper inserts, carbon headlamps and glossy anthracite accents  placed on the handles, mirror caps, and foglamp surrounds, but these features are only found on the  Veloce trim level. Everything else is the same and as we did not expect Alfa Romeo to bring out their new language design for this model, we did expect more form this facelift to be honest.

Interior Design

The same goes for the redesign of the 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulietta interior. The only memorable change is the upgrade given to the Uconnect infotainment system. It comes available with either a five- or 6.5-inch touchscreen and also Bluetooth connectivity for hand-free and audio streaming and new Uconnect LIVE services. This app offers you the use of news with Reuters, navigation with TomTom LIVE. and music streaming with Deezer and TuneIn. There is also an app which helps you with the Alfa Performance service and helps you measure the cars specs and performance.

Aesthetically speaking, the Alfa Romeo Giulietta 2017 gets only minor changes in order to shape everything perfectly. These include revised leather additions as the model comes with Alcantara sports seats with red stitching and also carbon surrounds which are placed on the door panels and dashboard surrounds. This is standard for the Veloce trim and it also comes with a unique matte black dashboard which is also available in the Super trim levels. If you take the Lusso pack, you get  height-adjustable leather seats and armrests.

2017 Ford Fiesta ST200 Review

There were a lot of interesting news released from Ford recently which ultimately saw the release of a 2017 Ford Fiesta ST200 finally confirmed. Actually this release came at the expense of the Ford Fiesta RS model as it was finally announced that a new model is not going to be built this year. But it gave a lot of room and a lot of time for the ST200 version to prosper and finally get updated. The hot hatch model is a high-performance version of the car and is going to make its debut next year.

The Ford Fiesta ST200 first came on the market in 2013 and had an output of 179 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque, which was mainly thanks to a 1.6-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine. The 2017 version is set to appear in Geneva for the first time for its official showcasing and reports say that it is going to dictate a power higher than the previous one. Actually as reported, it may go up to 10 percent more power and 20 percent more torque. This model is also unique as it brings us a list of features that we would otherwise not get in any other Ford model on the market.

The Chief Executive of Ford has recently stated that all of their new and modern vehicles come with the Ford Performance offering, which has been becoming stronger and stronger in recent years as it developed. The Ford’s EcoBoost engine technology is the one to thank and it will only be getting stronger and better. Until the release date of the 2017 Ford Fiesta ST200 and its unveiling, we can study the review and discuss about it as well.

2017 Ford Fiesta ST200 Exterior

The exterior of the 2017 Ford Fiesta ST200 has not suffered many changes compared to the latest model. The vehicles is still very much young and has not been on the market for that long, but they still decide to give it an update. With an already good looking exterior there was not much work that needed to be done. The most noticeable thing is the Storm Grey finish. The model also changes the and adds black color on the front grille, corner vents air dam louvers, mirror arms which are going to combine with the new 17-inch alloy wheels  and helping to comprise the visual package of the car in a great way.

22017 Ford Fiesta ST200 exterior front side

The color was a great choice, which was strange as they had gone with a darker tone instead of a brighter and an eye-catching one. But this new one actually suits the car far better as it also combines with the red brake calipers  that came standard and a brand new ST 200” badge placed on the rear hatch.

The Ford Performance has been upgraded as well with a little bit of fine tuning of the suspension dampers the spring both in the front and rear end of the car. This makes the ride height of the car drop by 15 mm and at the same time lowers the car’s center of gravity.

Interior Changes

There are some great changes made on the interior of the 2017 Ford Fiesta ST200. First of all, the Recaro seats from the ST have been transferred here and are this time wrapped in Charcoal colored leather which combines with silver stitching. The seatbelts also have silver detailing and there is some illumination made to car’s scuff plates. An interesting change is that eth Ford Fiesta ST200 2017 is going to have door handles that are going to face towards the front while the mirror and window controls are going to be a bit further down.

2017 Ford Fiesta ST200 interior specs

The door panels are also completely revamped but the storage pockets are the only part which has been transferred and used from the previous model. This makes the interior much better and much cleaner looking as it does not come with any bulky parts.

Both the steering wheel, the instrument cluster and the dash are coming in unaltered but there are some small changes made in fact. First of all the infotainment control knob is different and there is a ST200 badge placed on the  center console. The changes inside are perhaps few but it really makes a whole lot of difference when we compare it to the regular model.

Engine Specs of 2017 Ford Fiesta ST200

The engine specs are perhaps the most important thing about the 2017 Ford Fiesta ST200, and with an engine like the 1.6-liter, EcoBoost, four-cylinder one it is really worth taking about it. This model is able to churn out 97 horsepower and 213 pound-feet of torque, which is a massive increase compared to the ST200 that debuted in 2013. With the added tuning that make the power of the car higher, there is an added  transient overboost, which when activated adds another 15 horsepower and 22 pound-feet for up to 15 seconds on demand to the car.

The newest Ford vehicle manages to sprint to 0-60 mph in just 6.6 seconds, improving the specs form the last time, and also makes a higher top speed in the same time by making a total of 143 mph.

Release Date and Price – 2017 Ford Fiesta ST200

After the Geneva Auto Show the date for the 2017 Ford Fiesta ST200 is going to be much clearer. The best possible solution is that the release date gets to be by the end of this year, but in fact it is more than certain that we get to have it in the beginning of the next one. The price of the base version is $20,970, but the price of the 2017 ST200 has not been set which will change after the show and the official showcasing. We expect it to be somewhere in the range of $25,000.

2017 Porsche 718 Boxster Review and Price

The newest 2017 Porsche 718 Boxster is out. With the model and an extensive array of changes comes also the change in the name. The car is going to denominate the new Porsche car and use the label which was actually used before for lightweight Porsche cars built between 1957 and 1962. The name change comes with the Boxster now using a  four-cylinder engine and it was announced that this name is also going to be sued for the Cayman model, once it gets updated and receives its release date.

The Porsche Boxster model was first introduced in 1996. It was an entry level, mid-engine sports car and was the first road going roadster that Porsche has outputted since the 550 Spyder car. The car was immediately met with plenty of criticism as the car marked a significant departure from the traditional Porsche look. Little did they know back then that the Boxster will become Porsche’s biggest volume sale car. Now almost 20 years after its debut, it is time for another refresh for the car.

22017 Porsche 718 Boxster side

The Porsche 718 Boxster manages to do the same thing as the 911 Carrera model as they have both exchanged their naturally aspirated engines in favor of a turbocharged one. Porsche actually aims to reduce emission rates and improve efficiency using this strategy, and for the most part it appears to be working. This engine will use a flat-four configuration instead of the traditional flat-six used before.

As we are nearing the release of the 2017 Porsche 718 Boxster it was only fitting to make a review and let you know all about the specs and rats about the car and give you a chance to find out more about it.

2017 Porsche 718 Boxster Exterior Review

The 2017 Porsche 718 Boxster is more than just a mere facelift as there are many changes made to the exterior design of it. In fact most of the body panels have been changed, only excluding the luggage compartment lids, convertible top and the windshield, while everything else has been revised. The body panels seem familiar and do like very alike the previous car but have still taken a change compared to before.

The most obvious changes is the wider front end of the car which also adds a new bumper section as well. There are the new side intakes which have a wider and thinner design, which also makes the LED daytime running lights thinner as well. The fog lights are no longer integrated but are rather mounted as separate parts. There is a change to the center grill which is mounted underneath the license plate as it has been completely reshaped. There is also the addition of the Porsche’s new bi-xenon headlamps and optional units which come with four-point DRLs.

2017 Porsche 718 Boxster exterior review

The  Porsche 718 Boxster Porsche 2017 does not look too much drastically different from the side. There are a few eye catching details that are added here. For instance, the wings on the sides are much more pronounced and the side skirts are beefier. The doors do not have  handle recess covers anymore and the intakes are a bit larger. There are also revised side mirrors and 9-inch standard wheels with 20-inch rollers as optional ones. The rear end has additional changes with the new taillight design and the new decklid which reshape the car a lot.

2017 Porsche 718 Boxster Interior Specs

There are a few changes made to the interior of the 2017 Porsche 718 Boxster as well. The car has a new dashboard design which has revised A/C vents with an updated instrument cluster. The size and shape is the same but the steering wheel has new spoke design and a whole new center section as well. The model bears seminaries with the design seen in the 911 but also looks a lot more upscale than before.

Everything else was carried over from the previous car and looks more or less similar to before. The technology was in that case updated and has received many updates for the future car. You have the standard Porsche Communication Management which includes audio interfaces, cell phone preparation and a 110-watt Sound Package Plus. You can enhance it with a navigation module  and voice control.

Engine Specs, 0-60 of 2017 Porsche 718 Boxster

The most radical change for the 2017 Porsche 718 Boxster was made for its engine as the flat-six engine was dropped and replaced with a brand-new flat-four unit. This is going to improve the performance of the car and enhance efficiency for the Porsche models which was the primary aim of developing the engine. The base engine is the  turbocharged, 2.0-liter one which makes 300 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. The base model can spring to 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds with a manual gearbox or 4.7 seconds with a PDK.  But if you add the  Sport Chrono Package, it lowers the time even further to 4.5 seconds.

Do not get fooled with the setup of the interior of the 2017 Acura MDX as it does look a bit similar to the outgoing model.
