The new 2016 Infiniti QX50 comes an invigorated and refreshed crossover of the EX37 model which was released two years ago. It will be much superior to the previous model on many fronts.
The brand new 2016 Infiniti QX50 comes with a refreshed interior that will make the driving experience both fun an interesting. Unlike the previous model which had four versions, the new QX50 comes with only two available trim versions.
The trim versions will be the base QX50 and the QX50 AWD, however a hybrid variant is expected to be made available which will feature a specs upgrade as well as a new chassis.

The exterior of the brand new 2016 Infiniti QX50 will be based on the Essence Concept just like the current one. There are changes that should be expected to come with the new crossover despite some borrowing of the current model features.
The new 2016 Infiniti QX50 will only receive a mid-cycle facelift without any major changes whatsoever. Some of the features currently in the current version will also be present while new ones will be included.
This means that the new car will come with recognizable Demilune shape C pillar, asymmetrical cabin layout, deep body section and 3D double arch grille. A new rear and front bumper, side mirrors with LED turn signals and daytime running lights will be available.
2016 Infiniti QX50 interior
The appearance of the new 2016 Infiniti QX50 interior will also not change drastically. The passengers at the back will now be more comfortable than ever with the new crossover and this is only attributed to the longer wheelbase.
The dashboard will boast of a 7 inch LCD touch screen display which will have several features including; NavTraffic with real traffic and weather information, lane guidance, and satellite and radio navigation.
Some other features to be included in the top trim version will be a moon roof, hydraulic power steering, push button start, electric assistance, child safety locks, Bose audio system, heated front seats, Bluetooth, tire pressure monitor, stability control among other features.
The 2016 Infiniti QX50 will have a single engine under the hood for the two models. The engine is a 3.7L V6 engine which will be able to yield 325 ponies and 267 pounds of torque.
This engine will be paired to a seven-speed automatic transmission system with a manual shift mode, Adaptive Shift Control and DS mode with Downward Rev Matching.
As part of the Deluxe Touring Package, 19 inch split five-spoke alloy wheels will be made available while the standard wheels will be 18 inch spoke alloy wheels.
2016 Infiniti QX50 Price and Release Date
The new 2016 Infiniti QX50 is expected to be released to the market somewhere at the beginning of next year with the approximated price being 36,500 USD for the base version. The competitors that are expected to hit or are already present currently include the BMW X1, Mercedes Benz GLK, Acura RDX and Audi Q5.
