Another special edition car has yet been released by Chevrolet only this time round it has been at the Chicago Auto Show. The external additives of the classy Silverado LS Double Cab have been integrated.
The price of 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 has been kept in check despite the upscale looks that the volume model now carries. This is the latest addition that Chevy has unleashed to the market and on the look of things promises to be a truck to reckon with.
There is a bunch of changes on the Silverado even though Chevy has made it clear that the special edition car is for people who intend to keep their trucks for an extended period of time and who have a craving for a different approach without having to sweat oil at the bank.

Much details lie on the exterior of the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The truck has been fitted with 20” aluminium wheels, body colored bumper cap, chrome bumpers as well as mirror caps and door handles covered in chrome.

Despite the fact that the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 will come with a standard 4.3L EcoTec3 V-6 the officials at Chevy maintain that there will be an optional 5.3L EcoTec3 V-8.
With the optional V8 coming into play, then it translates to an additional 70 HP and 78 lb-ft of torque as compared to the V-6. But despite the significance in the power and transmission, the V8 still gives 2mpg on the highway.
The V-6 is capable of producing 285HP and 305 lb-ft of torque while achieving an EPA estimation of 24 mpg on the highway and 18 mpg on the city. The V-8 as aforementioned will add 70HP on the V6 to reach 355HP and also an addition of 78 lb-ft of torque to reach 383 lb-ft of torque.
The two engines are integrated onto a 6 speed automatic transmission while the 4WD comes as an option and the 2WD ultimately as the standard.
2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 price and release date
Confidence is so evident on Chevy marketing strategy that fans will opt for the V-8 offered as an option and colour-key carpeting. The 2WD will start at $33,820 while the 4WD will make a debut with a price tag of $37,800 depending on the options a customer will prefer. With vinyl floors and a V-6 then expect to pay about 1200 dollars less.
